Current Positions

Store Manager

Salary: $40,000-$45,000 plus Bonus & Tips

Are you a donut lover with a knack for making things run smoothly? Join us as the Store Manager at Lee's Donuts and sprinkle some magic! You'll be the heart of our operations, ensuring both customers and our team have a fantastic time. Your mission? Keep the donuts delicious, the team motivated, and the vibes as sweet as our glaze.

Responsibilities:

Team Management and Development:

  • Plan, recruit, train, and develop a skilled and competent team.

  • Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.

  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork.

  • Identify training needs and arrange skill development opportunities.

  • Schedule and coordinate team shifts for adequate coverage.

Customer Service and Communication:

  • Ensure exceptional customer service and handle complaints professionally.

  • Develop strategies to attract and retain loyal customers.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and updates.

Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management and sales performance.

  • Complete weekly orders for supplies, ingredients, and pre-orders.

  • Address maintenance and repair needs for the store.

  • Coordinate special events or promotions to boost sales.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Assessment of the quality in our products against targets and performance – be obsessed with how our flavors are doing against customers' demands.

Product Quality and Safety:

  • Maintain product quality and adhere to food safety standards.

  • Implement health and safety regulations and company policies.

Administrative and Financial Management:

  • Handle administrative tasks related to employee records and HR procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and licensing requirements.

  • Monitor & report daily/weekly labor hours and understand the relationship to transaction reports (received from Regional Manager)

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • You have experience in retail management.

Donut Maker

($16.75 + Tips)

A Donut Maker is an integral part of the shop! They are responsible for preparing all donuts, including fillings and icings needed for all shifts. Consistently model all store policies, standards, and practices to ensure efficient processes are maintained and quality product is produced on your shift. They demonstrate excellent knowledge of safety, health rules, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine the right amounts and types of ingredients required for making donuts.

  • Check order sheets in order to figure out how many donuts need to be made.

  • Obtain ingredients, and following recipes in order to combine and mix them.

  • Use hands, or hand or power mixers in order to make donut dough or mixture.

  • Ensure that the right quantities of ingredients, such as flour, yeast, and sugar are added to the mixture.

  • Use donut cutters in order to cut and shape donuts properly.

  • Place donuts in fryers, and set frying times.

  • Observe donuts as they are being cooked in order to ensure that they don’t burn, or remain raw.

  • Remove cooked/baked donuts, and place them on cooling racks.

  • Glaze donuts according to provided recipes, and sprinkle toppings such as edible confetti, sugar, or cream on them.

  • Ensure that toppings are properly set before packing donuts in boxes or bags.

  • Perform preventative as well as regular maintenance on fryers and ovens on a regular basis.

  • Ensure that all ingredients and supplies required for baking donuts are available at all times.

  • Assist in maintaining a high level of store sanitation and cleanliness.

Valued skills and experience:

  • Food Safe Certificate

  • Experience with basic equipment repair and maintenance

  • Bakery and decorating experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Continuous standing/walking for all tasks

  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg

  • Frequent turning and reaching

  • Occasional pushing, pulling, and some forward bending

  • Ability to lift at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 meters

  • Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping


Donut Server

($16.75 + Tips)

Lee’s Donuts is looking for an energetic, upbeat, and friendly member to join our team. Must be dedicated to providing quality customer service while working in a fast-paced environment! We welcome individuals who have a positive attitude and are willing to learn. You’ll be required to serve guests in a polite, friendly, and professional manner, take accurate orders, and efficiently work the register to complete the sale. In addition, you’ll support the preparation of the donuts for decorating, and complete cleaning duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Take pride in providing an amazing and personable experience for customers.

  • Have strong customer service focus, initiative and ability to multitask.

  • Be a team player who is, energetic, approachable, and enjoys working with people.

  • Maintain a solid knowledge of all products and quickly retain new product details as necessary.

  • Have experience in handling credit card, and debit transactions.

  • Have a positive attitude and friendly demeanour with impeccable problem-solving skills.

  • Be reliable, enthusiastic, and self-motivating, and enjoy learning new skills.

  • Upsell additional items on the menu and pack donuts.

  • Maintain a tidy storefront and complete cleaning duties for both the front counter and kitchen area.

  • Have a minimum of one-year customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Continuous standing/walking for all tasks

  • Continually operating the POS system

  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg, pushing, pulling, crouching, bending, and reaching above shoulder level
